WCFA Rabbit Show
This was our first year to raise animals for 4H and Codey wanted to do rabbits. So, with that came lots of stuff we didn't expect and a lot of new experiences. All in all it was a fun endeavor for the family. Codey showed his rabbits at our county fair and did AWESOME for his first year!! He placed 15th, just high enough to sale in the Premium Auction!
Here is Codey's cheering section. His would-be class from Alpha Omega came over to support him and he had fun with him being there. Nonna and Tim came to cheer him on also. There he is also at the Premium Sale waiting to see how much his rabbits brought in.
He did so well that Brogan is ready to go for next year! We are in the process of building a rabbit barn for the multitude of rabbits we are about to have and hopefully it will become a successful little side business for the kids. We are looking forward to our future in rabbits!

End of 3rd of Nine Weeks
Okay, so the 3rd nine weeks of school is over and only one more until summer hits, yeah!!
But, this post isn't about that.
Nope, it's about Joshua and his ALL A's for the third quarter!! YEAH!!!
I am so proud of him! This year has definetly been a challenge for him and things have not come as easy as they have in the past. With him skipping a grade he has had to catch up on two years of Latin and that has been a real challenge but he has been able to pull thru each time and overcome. But thru all of the trials, talks and moans and groans of the year he has managed to continue his goal to make all A's throughout his academic years. I know, I'm bragging just a little but I am one proud Momma!!
Oh, and by the way, if you have been keeping up with these end of nine weeks posts you will notice that we went from a smile, to having a hard time getting a picture with the ribbon, and now, well, I just have the ribbon. He did hand it to me though so it isn't all that bad. Yet!
Way to go, Boss!!
Lion Baseball
Alpha Omega Lion Varsity Baseball Team
Jeremy helps coach the varsity baseball team at Alpha Omega and it such a blessing for him to be around these kids and, I'm glad he can be there to be such a godly example to them as well. Codey is not playing baseball this year but has instead decided to hang out with Jeremy and the team and workout with them. He also gets to be one of the batboys for the team. We are in the middle of the season and it is going great...Keep it up Lions!!
