Rogue 1

Christian has been dying to see the new Star Wars movie, Rogue 1.  I told him if he could pay for his ticket we could go.  Of course, Rylen jumped in there also so we made an afternoon out of it and to my surprise, it was a pretty good movie.

Jump Jump HOORAY

The kids have really been wanting a trampoline but we just haven't been able to get them one. I went out on a limb and asked some friends that don't have any Littles anymore if they would be interested in selling theirs and they were sweet enough to gift us theirs.  It ended up being our family Christmas gift this year.

 

The big boys brought it over last night and assembled it while the little guys were asleep. This morning they woke up and were super excited to see it in the backyard.

 

 

I see lots of fun in our future.

Muddy Soccer Fun

Brogan is constantly asking if someone will go out and play soccer with her.  She never tires of practicing and playing.  So when the rain was over and I turned her down, her brothers were there to play with her.

Jeremy kicked balls into one of them while they tried to score on the other two. 

They had a blast playing and it made it even better to know there was mud involved.  Siblings make the best friends....and teammates!!

We had a fun day today celebrating Joshua today!!

He was home for a few days to work so we were able to spend his actual birthday with him.

We went out to the soccer field for some fun family time.  The weather was beautiful!

Top Golf with the family today. The guys have been here a couple of times and Jeremy wanted to bring the littles so here they are...

Everyone had a fun time and believe it or not Rylen actually had the top score one round. It was a great day as a family!

Planes Fire and Rescue

 We went to see Planes Fire and Rescue at the movies and Smokey the Bear was there. Just made it even more fun!

Neon for Nuerons

We did another color run with some friends just a week after the Austin one.  This time it was local and was a fundraiser at the hospital.  Best of all, it was neon and glow in the dark!  The kids had a blast and took some really cool pictures!!!

#happiest5k (Color Run Austin)

Christian has been wanting to run a 5k for a long time now and the older kids have been wanting to do a Color Run so we combined the two.  We thought is would be a fun 5k so we started training, then stopped, then started again, then stopped.  The time got busy and we thought we wouldn't go and then at the last minute we decided to go anyway.  We woke up at 4:00 am and drove to Austin for our first Color Run!!

Joshua strategically did a before and after shot.  He and Brogan ran the entire race in less than 30 minutes.  The rest of us walked it in about an hour.

 

 

 

It was a great day at our first color run!  The kids are already talking about doing another one :)

 

Astros Game

Jeremy requested an Astros game when he got home from work this time. They were playing the Rangers and he wanted to see them play. So, like a good little wifey, I made that happen :D and the battle was on...

With a family of 7 we usually get the cheap seats way up high but this time I splurged and got seats right at the bullpen. And when I say right at...

It was really neat and the kids loved watching them. All game Brogan, Christian and Rylen wanted to ask them for a ball but no one could work up the courage to ask. In the 8th inning the bullpen catcher was looking into the stands and Ry shouted "Can I have a ball?" And he couldn't hear and asked "What baby?" And Ry asked again. He threw Ry a ball!!

Rylen was do excited! And the others couldn't believe he asked all by himself. At the end of the game we threw it back down to him and he signed it. Ry was so excited! And Brogan and Christian thought he was cool, too!

It was fireworks night so of course the kids wanted to stay and we did. I think the older boys enjoyed it more than anyone else...

(By the way, Codey's mouth was wide open in amazement until he saw me wanting to take a picture!)

It was a fun family night, even if the Astros didn't win.
