The comings and goings of the Royal Court of Winston Manor. Royal in the sense that Jesus is our King. We serve a mighty God and our purpose is to raise life-long warriors for His name. Follow us in our journey, pray with us and for us along the way. Let us know what you think and how we can pray for you as we all follow along this path of life.

Camp UHBC Parablelooza
This past week our church hosted Vacation Bible School with a fresh new twist. They called it Camp UHBC Parablelooza! Throughout the week the kids learned the parables of Jesus and songs to go along with them. To reinforce the parables and give them meaning and life applications there were games to reinforce them also. Games like "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", "Deal or No Deal", "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?", and more. The finale on Sunday evening was a live unscripted game show and musical all rolled into one. The kids had so much fun and did such a great job. Thanks so much to the UHBC staff and volunteers. Your hard work makes a difference!!
A Huge thanks to one of Codey's leaders, Garrett. Most of these pictures are ones that he took, hence they are mostly of Codey. Truth is, mom can't be everywhere and most of the time I didn't have my camera anyway. I did manage to snap a few though.

Firsts
Rylen had some "firsts" this Saturday and I was able to catch them on camera.

Oh those firsts are so much fun to remember!!!
Saturday morning he had his first horse ride. He loved it!!! He smiled the entire time and didn't flinch a bit. Just wondering if we are raising up a cowboy to ride with his sister and brother?

He also had his first "kiss" at Codey's baseball game. He and Sophie have acknowledged each other during the season but Saturday they were playing with each other, sharing food and loving on each other. They were so cute!

Meet the Huntsville 11 year old All Star Team...
Codey made the All Star team this year and has been working hard during practices. The practices are longer and harder but he is having more fun than he did in the regular season. I haven't gotten any pictures of just him, yet, but here is the team. They took 2nd place in their first tournament in Houston this weekend. Way to go guys!!

Crash & Burn...Then Getting Back Up On The Horse
Brogan was thrown off of the horse Thursday during her lessons and has some battle wounds to show for it. It looks a lot worse then it really was and is almost healed. It is just the idea of what happened that is really scarey.
She rode, as fast as the horse could run, for about 8/10 mile before she was thrown off. We had a little trouble getting her back up on Baby on Friday. She went kicking and screaming and then screamed the entire time she was up on her. After about 30-40 minutes she finally rode with me and then with Rachel. Saturday morning we went back out to ride Baby and this time she got up and rode by herself. Rachel walked beside her and led Baby around but Brogan was up there by herself. We were so proud of her! I guess there are many more horse lessons in our future!!

Like the old saying goes...You gotta' get back up on the horse and ride again!!

Bloomin' Garden
Christian helped me pick the squash, beans and potatos today. He was a huge help and did a great job!
Our garden is still in bloom only this time it is with the sunflowers and tomatos. We planted sunflowers and tomatos from seeds and the tomatos all came up. We have so many tomatos turning it is unreal. We will have plenty to make salsa, sauce and pico de gallo, not to mention all of the fresh ones for salads! Jeremy has been reading up on canning and we are fixing to get a crash course in all of it. We are still getting our beans, squash, zuchinni, cucumbers and potatos and our okra is coming up nicely. We have been eating them, sharing them and freezing them and feel very blessed to have such a wonderful bounty. Here are just a few pictures of the beauty we get to see each day...
Our beautiful sunflowers

Just some of the delicious tomatos awaiting us
First Visit From the Tooth Fairy
Brogan lost her first tooth yesterday and got her first visit from the Tooth Fairy. She earned $2 for her first tooth! The tooth didn't actually fall out by itself it was sort of "wiggled" out by our wonderful dental hygentist. Brogan had her permanent tooth already coming in and her baby tooth wasn't real loose. She wouldn't let Jeremy or I wiggle it a whole bunch so I just made her an appointment to make sure it wasn't coming in to far in the back. When she came out she was missing a tooth and didn't even know it! The dental hygentist told her that she put some medicine on it and when she got home she could wiggle it out without even feeling it. When we got home the first thing she did was look in the mirror and couldn't believe the tooth was gone. She looked for it in the car and in the guaze for about 10 minutes before I told her what really happened to it. When she found out she thought it was really cool that she had lost her first tooth. She immediately put it under her pillow and when we got back from Codey's ball game the tooth fairy had already made a visit! Now we wait for more tooth fairy visits to come!
