Athletic Awards

The high school athletic banquet was very rewarding for Joshua this year.  After a very successful cross country season and a not so winning baseball season this evening was a good way to end the year.

Joshua recieved Most Valuable player for Cross Country and it was announced that he recieved the honor of making 1st Team All-District for baseball!  Way to go, Boss!!

Daddy Daughter Date

~So, yes, that middle picture is priceless~

She is just a little bit sassy.  He is just a little bit wrapped around her finger.
Together they are the best father/daughter combo there is.

I wasn't home when they left but I made sure to get some pictures when they got home (thus, it being so dark) and the results are priceless.  Love these two!

Christian was asked to play the roll of Sam Houston's youngest son in a skit at the Folk Festival this year. He did a great job!  To top it off, we all learned a ton about Huntsville and Sam Houston that we did not know.  What started as our annual fieldtrip ended up being a fun family event and memory!  It was a fun day!

It's All About Having Fun

So, I can't help but to love this little guy and all that he gives me.  And, when I say all, you better believe I mean AAAALLLLL that he gives me.  He may not be in love with the game of baseball, yet or ever dare I say it, but he is definetly in love with the fun that life can be.

"Ry!"  "What, MOOOMMM?!"  "Baseball ready!"

He does make a play, every game or two ;)

Yes, that is during the game!

You just can't help love that smile!

It's All About the Game

When Christian plays ball it is all about the game.  He is so serious and takes in everything.  He is not one to be playing around on the bench or on the field.  Whether he is on first base, pitcher's mound or hitting, he is focused.  And, he made All-Stars his first year playing!!!  Woo-Hoo!!!  Way to go Christian!!!

Awana Awards

The Awana year has come to a close and all three kiddos finished their book for the year.  Brogan finished hers early and Ry and Christian finished right on time.  Rylen was very excited to get his first Cubbie award and Christian and Brogan both got their second book awards for their age group.  It was a great Awana year!

Rwanda Mission Trip: How You Can Help

This is Fatima. She and Brogan became good friends on our mission trip to Amarillo in the summer of 2011. Her, her family and most of her community and friends are refugees from various parts of Africa.

You can partner with us on our upcoming mission trip! Here is how:
~ Pray for us! And for the team that we are going with!
~Pray for those we will be working with and ministering to!
~Support us financially! You can click the link on the right to partner with us.

Brogan and I will most likely be working with PreK-2nd children in the school that is associated with the church that we are partnering with. We will be teaching Bible stories and English to these beautiful children. In addition, we will travel into some of the more remote villages to share Jesus with the children and I may be doing some women's Bible studies as well.

Brogan is busy making pillowcase dresses and we hope to get some tshirts and make dresses out of those as well. Our goal is 5 large suitcases of clothing and small toys. We have 1 full so far!

Thank you in advance for your prayers and support!

~Denise

Co-op Week 28

This semester of co-op has been a lot of fun with the Junior Master Gardener class that Brogan is taking.  This week we took a tour of the gardens and the students learned about the different tyoes of gardening and some of the specializations that Master Gardeners can get.  They also tasted lavender lemonade and lavender cookies.  They were yumm-o!!
