AHG & HH

Brogan really wanted to do something for the Hospitality House this year with her American Heritage Girls troop.  Earlier in the year we tried a food drive but very few girls participated.  This time we thought we would help by planting flowers in their flower beds since they took such a beating by the number of freezes we had this winter.  Once again, only a few girls participated.  Even though the participation wasn't what we had hoped for, the girls still did a great job and revitalizing the flower beds.  Their hearts and hands were a huge blessing!

Girl time

Getting our toes beach ready!!  It was a great day for some girl time :)

Forever Friends

Thankful for friendships like this one for my boys...

Just another day at Winston Manor Academy

A few of our school days...

School at the library for a fun twist!

Fraction fun!

It's all about time!

Fair time!!!

Fair is here and it is time to have some fun. We aren't showing anything this year  so we are just riding some rides :)

      (To cool for this!!!)

Awana Grand Prix

I had some super excited kids this year for the Awana Grand Prix. They usually do have a lot of fun but this year they came up with some pretty cool designs other than just a car. Ry and C worked really hard at sanding and painting after Jeremy cut out their designs.

Ry did a bald eagle!

Christian made a really cool cheetah!

Between the older boys, Brogan and the younger boys we have been doing these cars for 12 years now. We have never win anything ( speed or design ) so this year the boys decided they were going to get creative and go all out for design. They did a great job and....

Ry won 1st place in his age group for design!!  He was sooooo excited!!!!

Christian didn't win anything and he was a little disappointed.

They both left planning what to dongle next year!!!

Without Fear

Absque Metu means Without Fear. And they are heading off with God on their side!!

Well, seems our kids are heading off this summer across the globe. Yep, across the globe!!

Joshua will be heading to Spanish Wells, Bahamas for a month to serve with The Living Stone Ministry. He will also be going back to Amarillo to serve with Mission Amarillo in June.

Codey will also be going back to Amarillo. In addition he is going to Mississippi to serve with Next Step Ministries in July and with Score to the Dominican Republic in August.

Brogan is headed back to Rwanda in June. This time she is headed off with a team and without Momma.

Christian is heading for his first mission trip to Amarillo and is very excited!

With all of that comes a lot of money to raise!  One way we are raising money is by selling the prayer bands above. They are $3 each and while you are wearing them you can pray for the kiddos.  We would love for you to partner with them!  Let me know if you want to help :)

Joshua's needs:

Amarillo- $150

Codey's needs:

Pizza math day!

Ry and C are learning about different types of graphs so I decided "why not make it a little fun!?!"  So, today we went around town to the 5 pizza places in town and asked them a few questions about their large pizzas. Ry and C did very good at asking the questions and writing the answers.

After we finished we came home and graphed the answers to our questions

Brogan even got in on the action and averaged the results to find the best deal

Now that we are finished Uncle Rusty has promised them a personal small pizza any way they want it if they bring him the results. They are excited to take their posters to him tomorrow!

See, math can be fun!!!!!!!
