Mission Trip Update

We are steadily collecting donations for our mission trip.  By "we" I mean myself and Brogan.  Turns out that Jeremy will probably not be going along with us.  Several reasons, the big one of which is he will be looking for a job and may need those 3 weeks to find something.  Brogan and I on the other hand, are super excited about the chance to get to go.  I have already sent in some money but we still need quite a bit more.  I know the Lord will provide.  It is just so hard to wait sometimes.

Brogan is doing several things to raise the money for her trip.  We told her that if she wanted to go she needed to help raise her money.  So far she has $56 in cash and another $400 committed through a read-a-thon that she is doing.  She still has a loooooong way to go!  (Umm, like $3600 if you are keeping count)

How can you help Brogan?

*Pray, Pray, Pray:  The shots part is setting in and she started to tear up thinking about them the other day, She is 9 and going to Africa on a misison trip (lots of changes from what she is used to), She is going out of her comfort zone by asking people for $$$, That God will prepare her heart and those that she will get to minister to

*Donate to her read-a-thon: It is .15 cents per page or a flat donation.  She is reading from April 1-15 and is expecting to average 20 pages a day or 300 total.  (Be warned: she thinks she is going to do more than that!)

*Give a donation in exchange for her to sew something:

*Give a donation for a pillowcase dress:  For a donation of $25 you can get one for a special little girl you know and another is made for a special little girl in Rwanda!

I still need a few funds for mine also but am a little closer than Brogan is.  We have a few businesses that we are going to go speak with.  We are doing a 6-8-10 plan and will have the names of the people or businesses printed on the back of shirts.  Details below for anyone interested.  All donations are tax-deductible if made out to One27 Ministries so it is a benefit to the business and individual as well!!!  ;)

$250 dollars- Medium print in middle of shirt, 2 free shirts

*Pack sponsors (looking for 9 'cause we have already 1!)

$100 dollars- Smallest print at bottom of shirt, 1 free shirt
