We were just there a few months ago but I'm missing these precious faces something terrible lately. I have on my heart that we are supposed to be going back sooner than next summer. Please pray for clarification as to wether or not we are supposed to go back and when that should be.
I have been able to share about our trip and needs in Rwanda with several different churches, individuals and groups since we have been back. Many have stepped up to help pastors fund the education of their children and many others are praying about how they should be helping. Please be in prayer for these individuals as they make their decisions. Please also be in prayer for our family as we share and decide what our role in the future is.
Please also be in prayer for some opportunities that are coming up with one of the homeschool groups that we are a part of. I have shared with them about our experiences in Rwanda and some of the needs there within the school. They are interested in partnering to help in some way but need clarification on what that should look like.
Denise, I'm continuing to pray. When I hear others talk about how they have ALWAYS wanted to go to Africa I can only partially relate. I know when there are missionaries at church sharing their experience I find I want to go and be present. I see the kids and my heart just cries out. At the same time I wonder if I'm to be the mouth, the money, the giver...I just don't know either. I want to make the right decision so I'm trying to separate "emotion" from "truth" to see what my most effective role in this is.
