Crash & Burn...Then Getting Back Up On The Horse

Brogan was thrown off of the horse Thursday during her lessons and has some battle wounds to show for it. It looks a lot worse then it really was and is almost healed. It is just the idea of what happened that is really scarey.She rode, as fast as the horse could run, for about 8/10 mile before she was thrown off. We had a little trouble getting her back up on Baby on Friday. She went kicking and screaming and then screamed the entire time she was up on her. After about 30-40 minutes she finally rode with me and then with Rachel. Saturday morning we went back out to ride Baby and this time she got up and rode by herself. Rachel walked beside her and led Baby around but Brogan was up there by herself. We were so proud of her! I guess there are many more horse lessons in our future!!

Like the old saying goes...You gotta' get back up on the horse and ride again!!
