It snowed here today! Yes, snow in Southeast Texas! Probably the harder thing to believe is that it is the second year in a row that it has happened. Who said Global Warming was something to worry about?

A snow day was declared after a few tests were taken and the kids had so much fun playing in the snow. It was way more than we thought it would be. Last year Christian cried the entire time he was out in it. This year he had a blast! Brogan took the lead and Rylen and Christian followed in the fun. Rylen, well he enjoyed it in the beginning but as soon as he got wet and cold he had had enough. And, Codey, well he thought he was too cool for the snow at first but once it really started coming down he was out there in the fun! And Momma...well I'm just glad it was just one day. Cold weather is not my thing. I would pick an island over this any day. Nevertheless, it was a fun day and one to be remembered!!
Wow, that is funny. I want to show Cori later; I think she would get a giggle out of it. She has no idea what it is like to see a little dusting and see it as a 'big' thing. She will love it.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you could email your address again. We were in the big city last week and Cori picked something up for Joshua. We thought it might be a bright spot in the day and he can share it easily enough.:)
